New Sanctions Rules Come Into Force Today!

Letting agents must now ensure they are fully prepared for the new regulatory requirements introduced today, as part of tightened financial sanctions legislation.

From this point forward, all UK letting agents are required to screen landlords, tenants, and — where applicable — the beneficial owners of corporate landlords or tenants against the UK Sanctions List. Any positive matches must be reported immediately to the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI).

While some in the industry may view these new rules as a challenge, at Adkins Property, we are committed to remaining fully compliant while helping landlords and tenants navigate the ever-evolving regulatory landscape. If you’re unsure what these changes mean for you, we’re here to help guide you through the process.
